FHSU to celebrate Family Weekend

HAYS, Kan. -- Fort Hays State University students will have the opportunity to share campus with their families during the university's Family Weekend, Feb. 4 to Feb. 6., celebrating family, friends and fun with various events taking place throughout the weekend.
Families can enjoy music, arts and dance with the MAD Talent Show at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 4, in the Beach/Schmidt Performing Arts Center. Tickets are $3 at the door, which will open at 6:30 p.m.
The Tiger Generations Breakfast, new to the celebration this year, will be at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 5. FHSU alumni who have children currently enrolled at FHSU are invited to the free breakfast in the ballroom in the upper level of the Memorial Union. Dr. Edward H. Hammond, president, will welcome alumni to campus and recognize their Tiger legacy during a short program at 11 a.m.

Students and their families can also join Tiger fans to support the FHSU Tigers against the Washburn Ichabods on Saturday. The women's game begins at 1 p.m. and the men's at 3 p.m.
