HAYS, Kan. -- Emily Ptacek, Lyons special student, was named a finalist for the Coeur d'Alene Symphony Young Artist Competition to be held in January in Idaho. Ptacek is one of eight finalists out of 130 national auditions.

The Young Artist Competition discovers and encourages exceptional young musical talent through anational competition.
