Majors and Graduate Programs Fair to showcase academic prowess at FHSU
01/10/11 bdb
HAYS, Kan. -- When asked what they want to do for a career, many new, and some seasoned, college students simply reply with a blank stare. To help these undecided students choose the perfect career path, the Majors and Graduate Programs fair will explore a variety of majors, minors, and certificate and graduate programs between noon and 6 p.m. on Tuesday, March 1, in the Fort Hays Ballroom of Fort Hays State University's Memorial Union.
The fair will give students a chance to connect with faculty, staff and students; add a second major; seek a graduate degree; learn about academic and career options; discover a certificate program; or learn about a minor.
Attendees will be entered into a prize drawing during the event. The event is sponsored by the Office of the Provost, the Office of Student Affairs and the Academic Advising and Career Exploration Center. The four top prizes are a Sony Reader, an iPod Shuffle, a Garmin GPS and an iFlip camcorder. Other prizes will also be given.
