Sternberg Museum to close only for 4 days over Christmas-New Year's holidays

HAYS, Kan. -- The Sternberg Museum of Natural History of Fort Hays State University will be closed Friday, Christmas Eve, and Saturday, Christmas Day, but will open at the regular 1 p.m. time on Sunday, Dec. 26.
The same schedule will also be observed for New Year's, said Mark Kellerman, director of public relations for the Sternberg. The museum will be closed all day Friday, Dec. 31, and Saturday, Jan. 1, 2011, and will resume regular hours at 1 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 2.
Museum hours are 1 to 6 p.m. on Sunday and 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday. The museum is closed on Mondays.
Admission for non-members is $8 for adults, $6 for seniors, age 60 and over, and $5 for youths, ages 4 to 12. FHSU students with valid ID is $4.
