HAYS, Kan. -- Amy Schmierbach, associate professor of art and design at Fort Hays State University, exhibited two art installations at the Aqua and Red Dot art fairs, both part of the recent Miami, Fla., Miami Basel art show.

Schmierbach's "Touch," multiples of crocheted yarn appendages, was featured at the Red Dot. "Warm and Fuzzies," furry fabric mounds, was featured in the lobby of the Aqua Hotel, which hosts the Aqua Art Fair.

Schmierbach is represented by the Eileen Braziel Gallery.
