HAYS, Kan. -- Fort Hays State University Intramurals will offer swimming lessons to children 6 months and older this summer for $35. The lessons will be in Cunningham Hall on the FHSU campus.

Four sessions will be offered: June 6 to June 16; June 20 to June 30; July 5 to July 15; and July 18 to July 28. All sessions will run Monday through Thursday. No classes will be taught on Monday, July 4 in recognition of Independence Day.

On each day, there will be a Level 5 session at 8:30 a.m., Parent and Child and Preschool Aquatics session at 9:30 a.m., Levels 1 and 2 sessions at 10:30 a.m., Levels 3 and 4 sessions at 11:30 a.m., and Level 6 at 12:30 p.m. Level 6 will not be available during the June 6 through June 16 session.

Each class will have a water safety instructor available as well as lifeguard assistants and will last 30 to 45 minutes.
