HAYS, Kan. -- A new leadership certificate is now offered by the Fort Hays State University's Department of Leadership Studies.

This 12-credit-hour certificate can add on to any major to help students understand global issues that may affect the future, and to understand and commit to cultural sensitivity while they work on complex political and economical issues.

Students can take Introduction to Leadership Concepts, Sustainability and the Future: The Seven Revolutions, Comparative Cultures and Societies or approved study abroad experience, and Seminar in Leadership Studies: Global Leadership (first to be offered in spring 2012) for this certificate.
