HAYS, Kan. -- More than 70 students were awarded nearly $80,000 at Fort Hays State University's College of Business and Leadership (COBL) Scholarship Awards Ceremony for the 2011-2012 academic year.
Graduate students and undergraduates alike received scholarships ranging in value from $250 to $5,000 during a ceremony led by Joan Rumpel, assistant professor of economics, finance and accounting.
Recipients are listed by hometown, classification and scholarship.
ARGONIA: Craig Simon, senior, a $1,000 Brungardt Hower Ward Elliot and Pfeifer Scholarship.
BAZINE: Cory Betz, graduate student, M.B.A. and Graduate Teaching Assistantship Award.
BOGUE: Holly Buss, senior, a $500 KOCH Industries Inc., Scholarship.
BUHLER: Levi Spicer, senior, M.B.A. and Graduate Teaching Assistantship Award.
BUSHTON: Courtney Moran, junior, a $500 Departmental Management and Marketing Scholarship.
