HAYS, Kan. -- Charles Keefer, an Augusta graduate student at Fort Hays State University, has received national recognition as an outstanding graduate assistant.

Keefer received the Central Region Outstanding Graduate Assistant Award given by The National Association for Campus Activities (NACA) at the regional conference in Tulsa, Okla.

Keefer was recognized for his work with many campuswide activities and in overseeing Greek life at Fort Hays State University.

The NACA Award is given to a student who is currently enrolled as an NACA member school in the central region. He or she provides outstanding service to a programming organization on their campus, provides innovative or creative efforts with their institutions and has been actively involved in other campus or community organizations and NACA regional or national events.
