Science cafe to discuss science-fiction

HAYS, Kan. -- Those who enjoy science-fiction should attend the next Science Cafe at 7 p.m. on Nov. 3 at Cafe Semolino, 111 W. 10th St.
Dr. Bradley Will, associate professor of English at Fort Hays State University, will discuss the impact of science-fiction writing on the world of science. Authors such as Arthur C. Clarke of "2001: A Space Odyssey" fame and William Gibson, the author who coined the phrase "cyberspace" in one of his short stories, are just a few of the authors that will be discussed.
