HAYS, Kan. -- The space week rocket launch has been rescheduled for 2 to 3 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 23, and will take place at the Ellis County Fairgrounds. The launch is sponsored by Fort Hays State University's Science and Math Institute, Department of Geosciences and Forsyth Library.

Originally scheduled for Oct. 8, the rocket launch was rescheduled because of inclement weather.

The event is free to the community and requires no pre-registration. Participants are encouraged to bring their own rockets to launch.
