HAYS, Kan.-- Five bands, alternative, hard rock and Indie, from as far away as Kansas City and Wichita, will play for free on the Fort Hays State University Quad on Friday, Oct. 14, to help fight human trafficking.
The Tigers in Service Band Festival will begin at 2 p.m. with Mild Manner, formerly The Jox, and run to 7 p.m. when the final band, Kansas City's 49 Stones, finishes its set.
The concert is free, but Tigers in Service will accept donations for the Not For Sale campaign to aid victims of human trafficking.
Syndication, a Hays band, will play from 3 to 4; when Wichita band Radio Free TV takes over until 5. From 5 to 6 music will be by Brown Bag Special, an alternative band from Hays.
