HAYS, Kan.-- Buy Christmas gifts for the whole family at the Fort Hays State University Department of Art and Design Annual Art Sale on Saturday, Nov. 12, from 9 a.m. to noon. The sale will be on the first floor of Rarick Hall on the FHSU campus.
Artwork by faculty and students will be featured, including retired faculty Michael Jilg, Kathleen Kuchar, John Thorns and Pete Felten. Artwork will range from paintings, drawings, photography, ceramics, handmade books and jewelry to T-shirts that visitors can design and have printed at the time of purchase.
"This is a great opportunity to purchase wonderful, one-of-a-kind artwork for yourself or even as a Christmas gift," said Karrie Simpson Voth, professor of art and design. "There is something for everyone, and the prices are so incredibly reasonable. It goes to benefit our students, so it's a very worthwhile cause."
All proceeds will go toward funds for undergraduate art and design scholarships. For more information, contact Simpson Voth at 785-628-5921.
