HAYS, Kan. -- Fort Hays State University's ManagementDevelopment Center (MDC) has announced two workshops in the Manager and LeaderDevelopment Series for the spring 2012 semester.

"Manager as Politician" is scheduled for 1 to 4:30p.m. Wednesday, March 14. "Leadership Transformation: Understanding yourLeadership Style" is scheduled for 1 to 4:30 p.m. Thursday, April 5.

"Our primary focus is to help develop people whoimprove organizations," said Dr. Kyle Stone, director of the MDC andassistant professor of management and marketing. "These workshops aredesigned to provide practical knowledge and experiences that can be usedimmediately within the workplace."

"All workshops are based on sound business theory andtaught by experienced practitioners who understand the challenges andopportunities of national and local businesses throughout western Kansas,"said Stone.
