Encore Series to bring Jim Brickman to FHSU

HAYS,Kan. -- Jim Brickman, a chart-topping pianist, will perform as part of the Fort Hays State University Encore Series at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, March 10, in theBeach/Schmidt Performing Arts Center on the FHSU campus.
Brickmanis known for his hits "Valentine," "The Gift," "Loveof My Life," "Simple Things," and "Peace." He hasreceived six gold and platinum albums, 30 charted adult radio hits and twoGrammy nominations. He currently holds four of the top 10 spots on Billboard'sNew Age chart and has received two Society of European Stage Authors andComposers "Songwriter of the Year" awards, a Canadian Country MusicAward, and a Dove Award presented by the Gospel Music Association. Brickmanperforms in more than 125 cities each year.
"Heis involved in many charitable foundations for children including Autism Speaks,UNIICEF and Camp Heartland," according to Brickman's website. "Hissongs have done everything from ease the pain to captivate people falling inlove."

Reserved seating tickets are $30 for the public, $28 for senior citizens and children under the age of 18, and $21for FHSU students with valid student ID. Unreserved seating is $26, $24 and$17, respectively.
