HAYS, Kan. -- The FHSU American Democracy Project would like to announce their competition for student organizations on Monday, April 16.

The organizations are asked to help in a canned food drive as a part of Global Youth Service Week. For every 20 items an organization collects, it will receive one service hour. The winning organization will receive a certificate and recognition from Tigers in Service. Individuals are also welcome to donate.

Donations will be accepted at the Forsyth Library from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. The donations will benefit the Hays Area Community Assistance Center.
