HAYS, Kan. -- Track and field coaches and staff at Fort Hays State University will hold a series of six instructional day camps from June 19 to June 21. All are open to beginners through advanced-level athletes, boys and girls.

Each camp costs $50 per person and has a maximum enrollment of 24. Lunch will be provided. Pre-registration is recommended by June 11, but participants can register up to the day of the camp, said Dennis Weber, FHSU track coach. More detailed information will be emailed to pre-registered campers one week prior to the camps. For more information, call Weber at 785-628-4390.

All camps meet from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Camps are listed by date:

Tuesday, June 19: High jump, long jump and pole vault. Poles will not be provided.

Wednesday, June 20: Speed and running development.

Thursday, June 21: Triple jump and hurdles.
