Fourth annual bonfire to kick off Homecoming 2012 festivities

HAYS, Kan. -- Homecoming 2012 at Fort Hays State University will officially begin with a bonfire and pep rally on Thursday, Oct. 4, sponsored by Tigers4Life and the FHSU fraternity and sorority community.
Festivities begin at 7:30 p.m. on the east lawn near the Robbins Center. The event features speeches from the coaches of the athletic teams as well as appearances by the FHSU cheerleaders, Tiger Debs, President Hammond and Victor E. Tiger. The public is invited.
Eagle Communications will sponsor the entertainment after the bonfire.
The rally begins with a procession of on-campus students to the Robbins Center, which will start at 7 p.m. at the residence halls and wind its way across campus.
