HAYS, Kan. -- Looking for a one-of-a-kind Christmas gift? The annual Fort Hays State University Department of Art and Design Art Scholarship Sale, from 9 a.m. to noon on Saturday, Nov. 3, in Rarick Hall, will have something for everyone.

Offerings include works by FHSU faculty retired faculty, and students -- paintings, prints, drawings, ceramics and handmade books. Retired professors and local artists John C. Thorns, Michael Jilg and Kathleen Kuchar are among the featured artists.

Hand-printed T-shirts from original wood-cut artwork will also be offered. T-shirts can be brought to the sale to be printed or purchased on site -- pick out the art you like and have a shirt printed right on the spot.

The money raised from the sale will fund student scholarships.
