Recipient of Fort Hays State University's Presidential Award to speak on campus

HAYS, Kan. -- Dr. Eric Arubayi, president and professor of education administration and planning at Delta State University, Abraka, Nigeria, will make four presentations at Fort Hays State University this week.
Arubayi, a native of Warri, Nigeria, will receive Fort Hays State University's Presidential Award as part of the Homecoming 2012 festivities. He will also serve as grand marshal at the Homecoming Parade at 1 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 6.
"Faculty, staff and students are invited to meet an outstanding alumnus and learn about dramatic changes in Africa," said Dr. Mark Bannister, dean of the College of Business and Entrepreneurship. "People interested in international business, education or development are particularly encouraged to take advantage of this opportunity."

Oct. 4, 9 a.m.: "The Rise of the African Economy," McCartney Hall, room 109.
Oct. 4, 10:30 a.m.: Foundations of Education presentation, Rarick Hall, room 201.
Oct. 4, 3:30-4:30 p.m.: College of Education and Technology reception, Rarick Hall, room 213.
