FHSU to host stress relief week during finals

HAYS, Kan. -- To kick off finals week, Fort Hays State University faculty and staff will host Finals Feeding Frenzy from 10 to 11:30 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 9, in the McMindes Hall Café.
A Meditation Day from 7 to 10 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 10, in the Sunset Lounge of the Memorial Union will feature an oxygen bar, spinal exercisers and massages.
Students will be able to stuff their own teddy bears from 11 to 1 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 11, in the Union's Cody Commons. Ted will be shown in Cody Commons at 7 p.m.
The week will end with a Workout Boot Camp at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 12, in the Fort Hays Ballroom located in the union. Fruit and healthy snacks will be provided.
The Center for Student Involvement (CSI), Chartwells, Tiger Wellness Center and the Memorial Union are sponsors for this years Stress Relief Week.
"The week has become a tradition for the CSI office. Students who need a break from studying can come and have fun doing something that doesn't take up too much time," said Vincent Bowhay, CSI and Greek life coordinator.
