University Activities Board to present 'Super Spectacular Awesome Week'
The University Activities Board at Fort Hays State University will host "Super Spectacular Awesome Week" as a chance for students to get involved on campus.
The week will begin with Creation Station: Stuff-A-Tiger from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Monday, April 22, in the Cody Commons of the Memorial Union. Students can stuff their own plush tiger.
At 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 23, Hypnotist Paul Ramsey will be at the Beach/Schmidt Performing Arts Center. The public is welcome.
"I believe that being hypnotized can change your life for the better, even if you're doing it for the very first time on stage and making people laugh," said Ramsey on his website. "It's fun, but it's also powerful."
Tiger Idol, 7:30 p.m. Thursday, April 25, in Beach/Schmidt, features Collin Moulton, comedian, writer and actor. The public is welcome.
In this spin-off of the popular TV show "American Idol," students can perform for their chance to win.
The University Activities Board (UAB) is the programming organization for the Fort Hays State University student body. UAB sponsors a wide variety of entertainment, programs and events to keep the students at FHSU involved in campus life.
