Holden to present workshop on blended learning

HAYS, Kan. -- Dr. Adam Holden, assistant superintendent of teaching and learning for Lawrence USD 497, will present "The Power of Blended Learning in Delivering the Common Core Standards" from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Monday, July 29, at Fort Hays State University's Sternberg Museum of Natural History.
Holden will introduce participants to Open Source, a free series of digital tools available for teachers to use in a blended learning process that will connect participants directly with the net generation.
The workshop is hosted by the Kansas Center for Innovative Education, a resource center that supports instruction for school districts, school staff, individuals, or business and industry.
Lunch and refreshments are included in the $90 registration fee, due Monday, July 22. To take the workshop for graduate credit, the registration deadline is Monday, July 15.
