Classroom management workshop

HAYS, Kan. -- Audrey Johnson, instructor of teacher education at Fort Hays State University, will present "Fred Jones' Positive Classroom Management and Discipline," from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 5, at the Sternberg Museum of Natural History.

The workshop, hosted by the Kansas Center for Innovative Education, provides the fundamental tools and skills to create a positive classroom environment with a proactive rather than a reactive approach to management and discipline.

KCIE is a resource center that supports instruction for school districts, school staff, individuals or business and industry. Workshops are tailored for specific education or business needs and incorporate current technology for the classroom and workplace.

Lunch and refreshments are included in the $90 registration fee, due Monday, July 29. To take the workshop for graduate credit, the registration deadline is Monday, July 22.
