The office of Career Services is sponsoring the 26th annual Career-Internship Day at Fort Hays State University. Career-Internship Day will be from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 11, in Gross Memorial Coliseum.
"Career-Internship Day is an invaluable career opportunity for all students, regardless of major and classification," said Dan Rice, director of Career Services. Students will have an informal professional setting to discuss possible careers, internships and full-time employment with prospective employers.
Many different career fields will be represented. Employers will have a table reserved to provide information about their business. Undeclared majors will be able to investigate different career opportunities. The list of employers attending is on the FHSU website at www.fhsu.edu/career.
"FHSU is proud to showcase its students, which makes Career-Internship Day a winning strategy for students, employers and FHSU," said Rice. All students, alumni, faculty and staff are welcome.
