Self-proclaimed as "the world's first stand-up economist," Dr. Yoram Bauman will discuss serious economic issues with a sense of humor at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 17, in Fort Hays State University's Black and Gold Room in the Memorial Union.
Through a unique mix of stand up comedy and economics, Bauman, an economist from the University of Washington, explains how economics influences important policy decisions in the United States. On his website at www.standupeconomist.com, Bauman says his goal in life is "to spread joy to the world through economics comedy; to reform economics education." Bauman performs at colleges and corporate events.
