Dr. Brittany Howell, associate professor of agriculture at Fort Hays State University, was featured in the online magazine Drovers CattleNetwork for her work on the Cattlemen's Beef Board, an entity of the U.S. Department of Agriculture.

She was appointed to the board in December 2010 by the Kansas Livestock Association, Kansas Cattlemen's Association, Kansas Dairy Association and the Kansas Farm Bureau.
