Get Educated ranks FHSU's online computer science programs No. 2 and No. 3

GetEducated.com, a consumer group that ranks the most affordable online degrees in the nation, has rated two Fort Hays State University programs as among the most affordable in the nation.
GetEducated surveyed 77 regionally accredited universities that offer 115 different online master's degrees in GetEducated's category of computer science and information technology. FHSU's Master of Professional Studies with an emphasis in Web development, at a cost of $7,241, came in right behind East Carolina University, Greenville, N.C., which costs $6,360 for residents and $23,760 for non-residents to obtain a master's degree in technology systems.
FHSU's Virtual College charges only one tuition rate for both resident and non-resident students.
Ranked No. 3 in the computer science and information technology category was FHSU's Master of Liberal Studies with an emphasis in social network management for $7,482. GetEducated computed the national average cost for an online master's degree in computer science at $25,670.
FHSU, through its Virtual College, offers 27 bachelor's degree programs and 10 master's degrees completely online and three others have a small on-campus component.
