The Hays High International Club is sponsoring a series of public presentations this semester titled "Welcome to Your Community: Hays-China Connections."
The first in the series, "Study in China," will be at 7 p.m. Monday, Oct. 14, in the Hays High School lecture hall. Fort Hays State University students will share their experiences as members of the exchange program.
The topic for the second program, 7 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 19, will be "Hosting an Exchange Student." It will feature Hays community members who are participating in the Friendship Families program, which is an opportunity to provide personal connections for international students during their stay in Hays. This program will also be in the Hays High lecture hall.
For the third presentation, 7 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 17, the FHSU Chinese Student Association will share information about their homes in various regions of China in "Diverse China -- Student Perspectives on their Homelands."
All three evenings will include time for discussion as several aspects of exchange between Hays and China are explored. The public is welcome to attend.
