Science Café will discuss global warming

A special Science Café at 7 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 24, at Gella's Diner, 117 E. 11th, will address the question "Has Global Warming Paused? Issues from the Latest IPCC Report."
The Science Café is sponsored by Fort Hays State University's Science and Mathematics Education Institute.
The café will update the audience on current research findings and allow people to "ask questions and join the discussion on the findings' implications," said Dr. Paul Adams, SMEI director and FHSU's Anschutz Professor of Education and a professor of physics.
The host will be Dr. John Heinrichs, chair of the Department of Geosciences. Admission is free. The café will be in the back room at Gella's.
