FHSU to host Swipe Out Hunger event

The Global Leadership Project (GLP) at Fort Hays State University will host the third annual Swipe Out Hunger event from 12-3 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 26, at Forsyth Library to raise awareness about world hunger.
Swipe Out Hunger is a statewide bulk food-packaging event among higher education institutions in Kansas. Packaged meals will be sent to those in need both for those on campus and in Rwanda, Africa. Swipe Out Hunger events are sponsored by Numana Inc., a non-profit public charity.
This event will be held in one-hour time slots. The first 300 people to sign up will be guaranteed a time slot. Volunteers may participate individually or as a team. Registration forms are due by Tuesday, Oct. 22.
