Institute of Applied Technology receives "Outstanding Program Award"

The Institute of Applied Technology at Fort Hays State University was presented with the Outstanding Program Award by the Colorado Technology Education Association (TEA) at the annual Rocky Mountain States Conference recently in Colorado.
The Outstanding Program Award recognizes FHSU's support of the Colorado TEA. The Institute of Applied Technology strives to make technology education available to Colorado students and offers summer classes for Colorado technology teachers to earn credits to use towards recertification. The Institute also sends many FHSU technology teacher graduates to Colorado.
Dr. Duane Renfrow, associate professor of applied technology, gives yearly presentations at the conference and promotes FHSU at the Colorado TEA.
