Ice Age exhibit to open at Sternberg Museum

"Titans of the Ice Age: When It Was Cool to be Big" will open beginning at noon on Saturday, Dec. 14, at Fort Hays State University's Sternberg Museum of Natural History.
The exhibit features fossils from the most recent Ice Age and compares them to their modern descendants.
Museum members can participate in a special members-only opening from 10 a.m. to noon. The opening includes a guided tour of the new exhibit, a Q & A with museum staff and refreshments.
Membership registration will be available on-site that morning.
Museum hours are 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday from October to March and 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Saturday from April to September. Admission is $8 for adults, $5 for youths ages 4 to 12, and $4 for FHSU students with valid ID.
