12/06/13
The Kansas Academy of Mathematics and Science will present posters of first-year students' research projects from 4:30 to 6 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 10, in Tomanek Hall.
The KAMS Research Poster Presentation is part of the Earth and Space Science Research and Writing class taught by Dr. Paul Adams, Anschutz Professor of Education, and Dr. John Heinrichs, chair of the Department of Geosciences.
The presentation will also serve as a preliminary round for the FHSU Regional Science and Engineering Fair, open to students from grades 4 through 12, scheduled from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on March 8, 2014, in the Memorial Union.
The public is invited to attend and support the students' efforts. The students are also seeking to join research teams in the spring.
