Nathan McComas was recently hired by the Fort Hays State University Police Department and began work on March 3.

McComas graduated from Washburn University with a bachelor's degree in criminal justice. He has worked at several correctional facilities including Jackson County, Missouri, and Riley and Shawnee counties in Kansas. He has also worked as a security guard in the Kansas City area.

McComas moved to Hays in September 2013 from Kansas City.
