Drawing students from Fort Hays State University turned the back fence of Roosevelt School, 2000 Macarthur Road, into a mural.
Fabric was woven into the fence in flower and wildlife patterns inspired by the K-3 students of Rita Legleiter, elementary art teacher.
"All who participated learned about collaboration and creativity and got the opportunity to be a part of something bigger, a large-scale public installation," said Amy Schmierbach, associate professor of art and design.
