Fort Hays State University's Dr. Larry Gould, professor of political science, Dr. Tisa Mason, vice president for student affairs, and Kindra D. Degenhardt, project administrative associate for the Alumni Association, wrote a module for "Increasing Adult Learner Persistence and Completion Rates," a guide for student affairs "leaders and practitioners" on keeping students in school through graduation.
Gould, Mason and Degenhardt's module is "Adult Learners, the Internet, and the Support Service Challenge." It addresses the "critical role" of technological support for adult learners and the importance of developing strategies to manage this support.
