Monarch butterflies topic of Science Cafe

HAYS, Kan. -- Angie Babbit, communications director for Monarch Watch, a cooperative network of students, teachers, volunteers and researchers dedicated to the study of the Monarch butterfly, will give a presentation at a Fort Hays State University Science Café on Monarch butterflies at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 1, at Gella's Diner & Lb. Brewing Co., 117 E. 11th.
The need for large and small-scale monarch habitat restoration in the Midwest plus the benefits for a multitude of other species will be discussed in the presentation "Bring Back the Monarchs."
This Science Cafe is sponsored by the FHSU Science and Mathematics Education Institute. Admission is free.
