HAYS, Kan. -- New efforts in Fort Hays State University's Tiger Gold on Friday campaign will be unveiled at this month's Chamber Chat at 9 a.m. Friday, Jan. 29, in Gross Memorial Coliseum's Victor E. Lounge.

All members of the Hays Area Chamber are invited as well as members of the Hays community. Light refreshments will be served.

The TGOF committee is a partnership between FHSU's Office of University Relations and Marketing, FHSU Athletics, the FHSU Alumni Association, the Hays Area Chamber of Commerce and Eagle Communications. The goal is to promote school spirit by encouraging the campus and Hays communities to wear Tiger Gold every Friday.

New efforts have been made to recruit TGOF Partners, which are businesses who offer discounts to customers wearing gold on Fridays. Some local entities have been providing a TGOF discount for years, and now the TGOF committee will recognize these partners for their support.

Once a business signs up as a TGOF Partner on the university website, they will receive TGOF materials and various promotions on campus. There is no fee to sign up.
