HAYS, Kan. -- Forsyth Library at Fort Hays State University is hosting a Blind Date with a Book from 6 to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 10, and again on Monday, Feb. 15. Books can also be checked out during regular library hours.

The event encourages readers to check out a book without seeing its cover. All students, faculty and staff are invited to attend.

Along with checking out books, participants can play trivia games and enjoy Valentine's Day snacks. They can also take pictures with their book and submit them on social media with the hashtag #BlindDateWithABook to win a prize. At the end of the event, participants will be given a "rate your date" card to say whether their date was a success.
