HAYS, Kan. -- Maryke K. Taute, assistant director of residential life at Fort Hays State University, has been selected through a competitive application process to attend the National Housing Training Institute (NHTI) at the University of South Florida in June.
"I am excited about the opportunity to engage with peers in the field and to work with experts in the housing profession," said Taute.
Applicants must have three to seven years of full-time residential life experience and a demonstrated commitment to the housing profession.
NHTI provides an intensive professional development experience for professionals who are looking to advance their careers in housing. During the training, participants meet and interact with colleagues, establish mentor relationships, create professional development plans, and gain skills and competencies.
