HAYS, Kan. -- A Fort Hays State University student organization, Women in Science, Technology, Engineering and Math, will host a National Pay Gap Bake Sale from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday, March 25, in the Memorial Union.

The sale will focus on the national pay gap between males and females. Statistics show that women earn 78 cents for every dollar earned by men. WiSTEM and the FHSU chapter of the American Association of University Women hope to raise awareness of this issue on the Fort Hays State campus.

WiSTEM's purpose is to educate, support, and spread awareness of women in the STEM fields.
