FHSU KNEA hosts Kansas college campus organizations

HAYS, Kan. -- The Kansas National Education Association Student Program at Fort Hays State University recently hosted this year's Spring Representatives Assembly.
KNEA is a professional association for college students who will enter the education profession and is partnered with the National Education Association. Campus chapters across the state plan activities and programs designed to help students become successful educators and also provide statewide leadership training sessions.
The KNEA state president is FHSU student Diosha Johnson, a Hutchison senior majoring in early childhood unified. She will represent KNEA at the NEA conference in Orlando, Fla.
Attendees performed various service projects at Lincoln Elementary School, such as painting.
