HAYS, Kan. - Dr. Babu George, associate professor of management/Virtual College International at Fort Hays State University, presented a research paper at the recent 32nd Pacific Rim International Conference on Disability and Diversity in Honolulu, Hawaii.
The paper is titled "Employee Adaptiveness, Workplace Diversity, and Organizational Performance."
"Adaptive competence is the extent to which an individual can adapt to changes in a work system," said George. "Cross-cultural adaptation is an essential requirement for anyone in the globalized workforce to continue to be relevant."
Adaptive learning helps people absorb complexity without "analyzing and reducing it," he said.
