Virtual College programs recognized online in August-September rankings

HAYS, Kan. -- Several online programs offered through Fort Hays State University's Virtual College have recently been ranked by various agencies as among the best and most affordable online programs offered by U.S. colleges.

Online Colleges recognized FHSU's Master of Business Administration and Bachelor of Science in medical diagnostic imaging as two of the most affordable and accessible online programs.
No. 2, Best Online Colleges for Business Administration
FHSU's business administration programs offer a number of concentrations including finance, healthcare management, human resource management, international business and marketing.
"The online MBA program offers flexibility to working students who want to further their career," said the OnlineColleges website.
The website also recognized FHSU as ranking in the top 25 percent for accessibility and prominence.

No. 5, Best Online Colleges for Radiologic Sciences
In addition to being ranked fifth overall, FHSU's radiology program was recognized for having the lowest tuition of all schools ranked and being fourth of 30 schools for accessibility.
The program offers three certificate specializations including cardiovascular intervention technology, computer tomography and resonance imaging. A fourth certificate, women's imaging, requires a one-week on-campus component.

No. 1, 2017 Most Affordable Online Colleges for School Psychology Degrees
FHSU's Master of Science in school psychology topped the list of five schools noted for their annual tuition and the degrees offered.
The program requires 66 credit hours, including behavior therapy, developmental psychology and methods in school psychology, and a five-day on-campus workshop.

OnlineU placed FHSU's Bachelor of Science in criminal justice among the top 23 most affordable online criminal justice programs in the country.

Affordability and accessibility earned FHSU a place among the top 25 online schools for psychology degrees.
FHSU offers both a Bachelor of Arts and a Bachelor of Science in psychology. Both programs consist of 124 credit hours and contain general education and psychology requirements, such as abnormal psychology, social psychology and child and developmental psychology.

FHSU's Master of Business Administration in finance earned the attention of OnlineU, which placed it among the best finance-only programs in the country.

FHSU MBA technology programs are the Master of Business Administration in information assurance and the Master of Business Administration in management information systems.
