Students from Fort Hays State University's Science Technology and Mathematics Education program recently performed their annual science and math Christmas show for more than 130 children and parents.

Students read Dr. Suess's How the Grinch Stole Christmas and explained how the Grinch was scientifically able to pull off his Christmas heist, including how his heart could grow, how he could shrink to fit down the chimney and move around the room without causing disturbance.

At the end of the program, Will Pingsterhaus, a Cimmaron senior majoring in mathematics education, made an appearance as Santa Clause and explained how he powers his sleigh.
