HAYS, Kan. -- The annual student organization awards reception, presented by the Fort Hays State University Office of Student Affairs and the Center for Student Involvement, will be at 5 p.m. Tuesday, April 18, in the Fort Hays Ballroom in the Memorial Union.

The reception will honor students, faculty and staff who have made outstanding contributions to various student organizations and student involvement opportunities at FHSU.

The individual awards presented will be Rising Star Member, Outstanding Student Leader, Diversity Ally, and Outstanding Advisor.

Program Awards presented will be Best New Program, Outstanding Community Service Project, and Best Program.

Group Awards presented will be Volunteer Organization of the Year, Civic Engagement Award, Most Improved Organization, and Student Organization of the Year.
