Fort Hays State University students in the Department of Biological Sciences and the Department of Geosciences recently earned recognition at the 149th Annual Meeting of the Kansas Academy of Science.

FHSU students took home seven of 12 monetary awards given to undergraduate and graduate students for oral and poster presentations.

The annual meeting is a gathering of Kansas Board of Regents institutions to present research and discuss new developments and issues in the field of science.
