HAYS, Kan. - Markie Hageman, Auburn, Ala., a Fort Hays State University Virtual College junior majoring in agricultural business, was recently named the Region II 2018 Convention Marketing Ambassador for the Annual Cattle Industry Convention and National Cattlemen's Beef Association Trade Show.

Hageman is one of seven ambassadors selected for their devotion to the beef industry and knowledge of marketing.

She participates in a number of organizations, including her county's cattleman association, Young Cattlemen's Leadership Program, Junior Cattlemen's Association and American Farm Bureau Federation Young Farmers and Ranchers.
