Seven students advance to National NATS Student Auditions

HAYS, Kan. – The Fort Hays State University Department of Music and Theatre enjoyed success when competing recently at the West Central Region National Association of Teachers of Singing Student Auditions in Greeley, Colo.
Students of Dr. Joseph Perniciaro, associate professor of music and theatre, and Dr. Ivalah Allen, associate professor of music and theatre, earned regional finalist and semi-finalist designations as well as two first-place awards. Seven students qualified as regional finalists and will compete in the 2018 National NATS Student Auditions.
